A LONG-established Troon musical group hope to hit high notes for seasonal event all in a very good cause next month.
Marr Cappella will present their Together Through Song - Spring Fling event in Portland Church on Wednesday, April 27, at 7.30pm
The event is being staged following on from the success of the Together For Christmas concerts performed by the group in Portland Church and St Meddan's Church. The December musical evenings are now an integral part of Troon's festive celebrations.
Proceeds from the Spring Fling will go towards the Mary's Meals charity.
The group are excited to be planning the first Spring concert for several years and hope it will become a regular part of the Troon calendar.
An eclectic mix of songs and arrangements centred around the theme of Spring and new life will feature on the night. Marr Cappella will be joined by Flautist Ruth Binks and Mezzo Soprano Nicola Evans.
Tickets priced £7 available from Words & Music, James G Brodlie Pharmacy and Wallace Stevenson Pharmacy.
