DANCING shoes were dusted down for a special Scottish cultural event at Troon Primary School last Thursday.
Ceilidh Kids Day was organised for the P5 to P7 classes, with 151 pupils taking part.
A team from the company One Day Creative helped put the pupils through their paces. They danced to traditional ceilidh style Scottish music but were shown both traditional and more contemporary dance moves.
The day was enjoyed by the pupils who escaped the classroom routine for a day.
The all-day event will help them prepare for the Day of Dance event which is being held in Troon Concert Hall on Friday.
