In this week's paper (out today) we are featuring all the pets from the area who are competing to be crowned our 2014 Pet Idol and win £300 cash.
And the winner will be decided by readers.
You'll find the first voting voucher in this week's paper so get voting now.
We will print voting vouchers every week and our first round of voting will last until August 8, 2014. You can send as many vouchers as you want in the same envelope but we'll only accept original vouchers.
We will then count all the votes to whittle down the entries to our top 40, which we'll publish on August 12.
The overall winner will be announced on October 7 after a number of pets have been eliminated every week after voting.
