A BUS carrying Rangers supporters was attacked and damaged after the Light Blues drew 1-1 with Aberdeen on Tuesday night.

The incident happened while the bus was driving westbound on Hutcheon Street near Mounthooly roundabout between 9.50pm and 10pm after the Scottish Premiership match at Pittodrie Stadium.

“What is more concerning is the fact the coach was moving at the time. Such a reckless act put everyone on the bus in danger as well as pedestrians. It goes without saying the outcome could have been much worse.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 4390 of May 8, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous.

Mr Mackay continued: “Given the general good behaviour of the crowd that night, this incident is particularly disappointing.
