Teenagers have found a brain in a jar in an abandoned hospital building.
A video has emerged that appears to show a brain in a vat of liquid labelled with a name and date of death from the 1970s.
It comes just days after children discovered a foetus in a bag inside the same Stobhill Hospital building.
Six youths were arrested by police after a video was posted online of the shocking find.
A criminal investigation has been launched by Police Scotland.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde confirmed that a secured facility, part of the old Stobhill Hospital, was used to store artefacts for teaching purposes.
A spokeswoman added: “Video images posted on social media shows a disturbing scene of a secure area that had been trashed by intruders.
“NHS organisations regularly retain specimens for clinical and research purposes and this store had a collection of historical specimens which were stored under strict regulations.”
