A COYLTON man is looking to fulfil his ambition of being on a TV game show — and needs your help to do it.

Peter Fay, 64, is looking for people to join him and create a team for Eggheads.

The BBC quiz show pits a team of five formidable game show champions against a team of five challengers who attempt to beat the Eggheads and win the prize-money.

Peter is no stranger to the limelight having already appeared on Question Time as well as Newsnight and World Tonight just prior to the Scottish independence referendum.

Peter came close a few years ago to appearing on Eggheads but his team fell through at the last minute, but he says it’s not about being intelligent, it’s all about personality.

Peter said: “All I need is five or six people — enough to make a team and have reserves.

“It should be easy enough because it has got nothing to do with intellect, it’s all about the personality of the team.

“You won’t lose anything for taking part, and I’m not looking to find intellectuals, I’m wanting to find just ordinary people to do this with, who will look good on TV too.

“Any age, male or female it doesn’t matter, ideally it’d be someone who lives locally and someone with a videocamera too because we’d need to film an audition.

“I regard myself as having a good general knowledge and I thiink I could do well.” Anyone interested in setting up a team for Eggheads with Peter should get in touch with him by calling 01292571068 or emailling fayp24@yahoo.co.uk
