TWO fire crews had to tackle an electrical fault in a two story building last on July 21.
The incident occurred on Dalmilling Drive in the town just before 7pm on last Tuesday evening.
On arrival, the householder informed the fire crews that smoke appeared to be issuing from below the floor boards.
Incident Commander Derek Scott instructed his crews to cut away the hardwood flooring and the remove the floorboards below to allow examination of the area below.
The fire has been believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
The final fire crew left the incident some four hours after initial attendance.
