AN INQUIRY into the death of a teenage cancer patient who received a radiation overdose was halted after experts agreed that the excess radiation did not kill her.
Sixteen-year-old Lisa Norris, formerly of Downhill Road in Girvan, died in October 2006 after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
She was given a massive overdose at Glasgow's Beatson Oncology Unit in January 2006 while receiving radiotherapy treatment.
One medical expert initially believed that there was a link between her death and the overdose but just last month further inquiries revealed that the link could not be established.
