Relief for Girvan's Happit Workers

STAFF at a high-street clothing store in Girvan are now able to breath a sigh of relief as their jobs are saved with moments to spare.

The Happit chain of value stores went into administration at the start of the month, claiming the total workforce of the Dalrymple Street branch.

But in surprise u-turn the company has been bought out of administrations, saving over 240 jobs throughout England and Scotland by Ellie Louise Trading Limited.
