AYR Flower Show is ready to bloom for another year after organisers announced it will be taking place in August.
Last year"s show attracted over 25,000 visitors and the show chiefs will be hoping for a similar turnout this year.
It will take place over the weekend of August 8, 9 and 10 in Ayr"s Rozelle Park.
The 2007 event is available to watch on the internet, and entries are already being received for this year, with discount tickets also available until mid-July.
Flower show chairman John Walker said: 'This year we"re building on previous shows with some stunning show gardens, the usual array of Chelsea winners, and some improvements to help visitors get around the show site.
'Ayr"s a real highlight for the South West, though, so we want to see people from Dumfries to Dumbarton and further afield visiting and represented at the show.'
Tickets, last year"s footage, information, and competitive class entries are now available from Ayr Flower Show office on 01292 618395 or via the website www.ayrflowershow.org.
