Cannabis Worth £9k Discovered in South Ayrshire Home

THOUSANDS of pounds worth of cannabis plants have been uncovered at a Troon home yesterday morning.

Officers from Troon Community Policing team raided the Johnstone Drive house at 7.30am on Monday, March 1.

The intelligence led operation saw approximately £9,000 worth of cannabis discovered.

Two men, aged 40 and 62, and a 39-year-old woman have been reported to the procurator fiscal for allegedly cultivating cannabis plants, being in possession of controlled drugs, being concerned in supply of controlled drugs and possession with intent to supply control drugs.
