AN urgent appeal has been made by a woman desperate to track down relatives before it's too late.
Nancy Wilson is looking for any information on her mother's cousin June Thomson who lived in Ayr with her husband and two sons.
The family were known to live in Ayr's Princes Court two to three years ago but there has been no word since.
Now Nancy, who suffers from heart failure, and her mother Janet, who is bed bound with emphysemia and is oxygen dependant, are determined to find them.
Nancy said: "This means the world to me, to put those two back in touch would be such a buzz. I want to see this through to its ultimate conclusion before time runs out for me. I don't want to go to my grave knowing I have not done everything in my power to find June."
June Thomson, nee McColm, and was born on June 1, 1934 and raised by her aunt, Molly McGuire and may have been known by that surname as a child. Her mother was Margaret Guthrie McColm, or Peggy as she was known within the family.
June married Thomas Gilchrist Thomson on July 19, 1953 but he sadly passed away on May 8, 1988 at the Western Infirmary. The couple had lived in Lochside Road, Ayr with their two sons, Thomas, who was born in 1953 and George who was born in 1957.
