A YOUNG Ayr student organised a national art exhibition featuring some of the country's leading artists.

Chloe Milne organised 'The Link' as part of her University of the West of Scotland degree course in BA Hons Commercial Music.

A fourth year student, Chloe chose to focus on celebrating the strong link that exists between music and art for her creative arts practical project.

The exhibition ran over two weeks at the Music Library in Edinburgh and featured work from a wide variety of Scottish artists including former Turner Prize winner Jim Lambie, whose portrait of Douglas T Stewart of the BMX Bandits was exhibited.
