Dream Wedding Winner Revealed!

Winner of £3,500 Marine wedding competition unveiled

THE result can now be revealed of the 'wedding in a box' competition at the Barcelo Marine Hotel in Troon.

The winner of this popular competition was Stacey King from Largs with 1421 votes.

She scoops a prize, worth £3,500, including a drinks reception, and three course meal for 40 guests at the four star seaside location overlooking the historic Royal Troon Golf Course.

Five other couples, however, have also been awarded £500 off a 'wedding in a box' package at the Marine after achieving impressive votes.

They are Gary Taylor and Meghan Balfour of Ardrossan, with 1263 votes, Leonne Johnston and Colin Greer of Beith with 1245 votes, Maureen Collins and Wull Carmichael of Cumnock with 1178 votes, Stuart Brown and Diane Lowry of Irvine, with 1147 votes, and Sean Tarana and Samantha Hill of Troon with 920 votes.

Well done to all our top couples and to the Barcelo Marine for their generosity.

Winner Stacey's prize includes an evening reception with evening buffet and the use of the bridal suite.

The winning couple will also enjoy photograph by Dream Day Photography, a wedding cake from Sugar and Spice, a wedding car from Craig Billham Executive Travel, flowers from Kirsties Flowers, venue and dressing from Cover the Big Day and a disco from Big Al Entertainments.
