'Speed up bypass plans at accident blackspot'

THE dangers of Maybole High Street were highlighted again this week as a van driver went to court after knocking down a teenager.

A pupil being knocked down by traffic outside the town's Carrick Academy in the last couple of weeks is just the latest in a long line of incidents, including the court case, that has blighted the lives of the people of Maybole.
