A PROMINENT member of the Men’s Shed fraternity visited Girvan.
Tim Green, who is based in Dunfermline, is the organisation’s community development officer and has watched the project grow over the years throughout Scotland.
He spoke to the chairman and several members at Girvan about suggested options for the proposed shed in the town.
Mr Green describes Men’s Sheds as a grassroots movement galvanising a rich and diverse range of skill, capabilities, experience and motivations which meets.
Before leaving he wished the men all the best in their goal to have a shed in Girvan and was delighted to hear that the group had just become members of the Scottish Men’s Shed Association .
