THE AYR Community Church Gospel Choir along with the Junior Brass Band will be putting on a show to raise money for polio.
Purple for Polio will take place at Castlehill Parish Church on Saturday, September 23 at 7.30 pm to help the Rotary Club of Alloway in its efforts to help rid the world of polio.
Peter Ball, publicity officer for Alloway Rotary, said: “Alloway Rotary, together with the matched funding provided by the Gates Foundation has already raised about £9,000 this year, mainly by means of the Duck Race, and they were delighted to accept the help of the choir and band in performing what promises to be an unmissable concert.”
Tickets are available from the Wishing Well in Alloway Street in Ayr, from Rotary Club members, at www.alloway.rotary1230.org, through Facebook@RotaryAlloway or by email request to pro@alloway.rotary1230.org.
