A PLANNING application to transform a two storey building, in Girvan, into flats has been submitted to South Ayrshire council.

Developers want to transform the house, which sits on 24 Golf Course Road, into two separate flats in a bid to attract more people to the area.

The application is currently pending consideration. Residents of Golf Course Road have been made aware of the plans and there appear to be no objections to the proposals at this point.

Agent Barry Kerr -Architectural Services - are proposing a new altered vehicle access route from the public road while the work is being carried out.

But they are not planning to change or close any public paths which would affect access to the street during the construction.

There are currently three parking spaces, on the site, including a garage but it is hoped this will be increased to five bays for cars and other vehicles.

The application became valid on May 9 and is now being dealt with by David Clark.
