BARR Gala Day will be held on Saturday, June 3 this year and the theme is 'Scottish Heroes'.
The Auchensoul Fell Race will take place on Gala morning – before the main event gets underway.
There will be lots of fun with the Maybole Pipe Band leading the parade, stalls, games, food and teas, pets at the pot and more.
With the main theme in mind ladies of the rural area have decided to dress up as Scottish Land Girls of the World War II to celebrate their heroic contribution to work the land and feed the nation.
