PRESTWICK'S helicopter life savers were tasked to two very different rescues this week saving 14 people in the process.

HMS Gannet were training off Little Cumbrae at 11.35am on Tuesday, April 3, a day forecasted for snow across Scotland that saw flurries fall along the coats in Troon and Ardrossan, when they were called to help a group of walkers caught in heavy snow 1200 metres in the air on the highest mountain in the Cairngorms.
