DALMELLINGTON'S Community Action Plan got a rousing send-off from around 200 local residents at its official launch recently.

The plan, which sets the town's priorities for the next five years, was drawn up with the support of the Coalfields Regeneration Trust Communities Future programme and STAR Development Group, who specialise in community action planning.
