Girvan Harbour ready for a revamp?

A PLANNING application is finally in for improvement works for Girvan harbour, as development in South Carrick takes a step forward.

Modernisation of the harbour has been a dream for many of its users for some years and now, after a procurement exercise last year, planning consultants Fairhurst have submitted an application on behalf of South Ayrshire Council for new pontoon berths, an access bridge and associated works.
