Pat Steps Down as Chairwoman of Community Council

MEMBERS of Prestwick North Community Council have praised their chairwoman as she steps down.

At the group"s recent AGM a range of topics were discussed.

But deep regret was expressed that chairwoman Pat Robertson had to resign on medical grounds.

Community Council members however praised Pat for all her efforts as a dedicated, enthusiastic and dependable member.

Secretary Ronny Johnston has also had to step down from his position after being promoted at work although he will remain a community councillor.

During the meeting many controversial issues were the subject of interesting debate, with many of them remaining on the council"s agenda for the weeks and months to come.
