An air ambulance and a trauma team were called to an incident in Maybole on Sunday night.
Emergency services were called to the village just after 7pm, with one patient transported to Crosshouse Hospital by road.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 7:13pm on Sunday, April 28 to attend an incident in Maybole.
"We dispatched one ambulance, one Helimed Air Ambulance, and a trauma team to the scene and one patient was transported to Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock.”
Police have been contacted for further details.
