The 1st Crosshill Guides and Rangers are the latest users of The Gatherings on Maybole High Street.

They are the first group to use the community space for retail since it was saved and renovated by the North Carrick Community Benefit Company (NCCBC).

The amazing new shop is available for community groups to book at the rate of £115 per week, which includes a small discount to ensure affordability for community groups.

The shop was once known as Maybole Charity Shop, and the former committee now operates a shop in School Vennel.

Ayr Advertiser:

The committee was invited to return to their original site, but decided to stay where they are, so NCCBC have established a new group to operate the shop in a complementary way.

The shop is set to be used as a flexible community space for things like exhibitions and workshops as well as retail.

Groups can book the shop for a variety of purposes, including fundraising.
