TRUMP Turnberry Resort in South Ayrshire is celebrating winning the Events Hotel of The Year for 2019 at the Scottish Hotel Awards.
The events team at the res or t wo rk t i r ele s s ly throughout the year and the accolade is recognition for their hard and the hotels first class facilities.
The 16th annual Scottish Hotel wards were held at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow and hosted by TV Presenter, Carol Smillie.
Over the last 12 months the iconic resort has hosted some top sell-out events.
In March,they hosted a full Turnberry resort picks up top award for events hotel card of professional boxing which featured former Heavyweight World Champion, Lucas Browne along with 22-year-old Calvin McCord from Ayr clinching the Scottish Lightweight title.
Turnberry also recently hosted the John Hartson Foundation Golf Day with the charity aiming to increase awareness of testicular cancer and raise funds to support those whose lives are affected by cancer.
The incredible line-up featured Manchester United legend Paul Scholes, former Tottenham manager and king of the jungle Harry Redknapp along with Celtic manager Neil Lennon.
