A MAN has been arrested in connection over the disappearance of Kilmarnock woman Emma Faulds.
Ms Faulds , 39, was last seen in Fairfield Park, Monkton at around 21:10 on Sunday 28 April.
Police have confirmed that they have made an arrest of a 39-year-old male following Ms Faulds disappearance.
She went missing from her Kilmarnock home 11 days ago.
On Tuesday a forensic team descended on an estate in Monkton and carried out an extensive search of a detached property.
Police announced earlier this week they feared the 39-year-old may have come to harm.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A 39 year old man has been arrested in connection with her disappearance and enquiries are continuing."
