TRIBUTES have poured in for a well loved hairdresser from Troon who died suddenly this week. 

Karen Adair, 41, who worked in Troon's Mane Man barbershop has been hailed as an "amazing woman" after the salon posted the tragic news on their Facebook page. 

Devastated staff shared a picture of Karen celebrating her 40th with the a message telling of their heartbreak.

The post read: "It is with the heaviest heart that I let you all know our beautiful girl Karen passed away suddenly. We are absolutely devastated.

"The mane man will remain closed until Friday 3rd of may.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with Karen’s family at this sad time.

"The post received hundreds of messages of support for Karen. 

One friend sayed Karen was "one in a million".

A customer told how her son loved getting his haircut by Karen. 

Jacqui Passant said: "We are so shocked and saddened to hear about Karen.

"She just cut my sons hair on Saturday and always chatted to him about Thomas the Tank and dinosaurs, he absolutely loved going to her.

"Thoughts with all her friends and family."

Another customer, Kenny Blair added: "So sorry to hear of Karen’s passing.

"She cut my hair the last few times I’ve been in and she always made me laugh and she took special care of my dad when he came with me."
