A WOMAN was arrested last week for allegedly shouting and swearing at police officers during a disturbance.
Police were actioned to an address in Walker Avenue in Troon at around 1.20pm on Sunday, April 7 where they observed the 26-year-old leaving the property.
As officers approached, she became increasingly agitated and began to shout and swear at officers. She was then warned regarding her behaviour but failed to desist. As a result the woman was arrested, cautioned and charged with various offences and held in Police custody to appear at Ayr Sherriff Court.
