TROON RNLI came to the rescue of a fishing vessel with a fouled propeller last week.
The lifeboat was requested to launch by Belfast Coastguard just before 9pm on April 2.
The crew onboard the fishing vessel had notified the Coastguard that they required assistance nine miles north west of Troon.
Arriving on scene, the lifeboat crew established a tow and the casualty vessel with two crew members on board was taken back to Troon.
