GIRVAN Rotary club will be taking on their annual beach clean on Saturday, March 30.
Picking teams will be getting their beaches tidied and in order for the summer visitors coming and they are asking like-minded locals for their help.
Those helping can meet at either Ainsley Car Park in Girvan at 10.30am or at the Lifeguard Station at the North beach at the same time.
Helpers will walk along these beaches picking up litter and those coming are advised to bring suitable weather attire on the day. Pickers and bags will be provided on the day, and with a lot of people on hand, it is expected to take about an hour.
Locals have been very grateful for the beach cleaning efforts in the past and previous supporters such as Golf Course Road residents and the Ballantrae Scouts and Cubs are encouraged to get involved again.
