Man repeatedly stole cosmetics from Boots
A MAN has appeared in court accused of repeatedly stealing cosmetics from a Boots store in Troon.
Darren Swindle of Alexander Avenue in Stevenston appeared for three separate instances of shoplifting between October and November last year.
The 38-year-old appeared before Sheriff Desmond Leslie at Ayr Sheriff Court on Tuesday, March 26 but his sentence was deferred to await the outcome of other matters calling at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court. Representing Swindle, solicitor Mr Glen Davis told the court there are about six matters to be dealt with at Kilmarnock.
Swindle's shoplifting charges will be readdressed on March 19.
