An 18-year-old man supposedly stole alcohol at Keystore on Culzean Road in Ayr
A TEENAGER has been charged for allegedly stealing booze from a shop after being refused sale.
The 18-year-old man entered the Keystore on Culzean Road in Ayr at around 4pm on Wednesday, January 23 but the cashier did not allow him to buy a quantity of alcohol.
The teenager then proceeded to make off from the store with the drink before police were contacted.
Officers attended and traced him a short time later where he was arrested and held custody to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Friday.
