Man charged for speeding at excessive speed near Prestwick airport
A MAN has been charged for allegedly driving at excessive speeds near Prestwick airport last week.
The 40-year-old was stopped by police carrying out speed checks in the area and reported him driving his red Citroen over the speed limit on the A79.
The driver was reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
