AN Ayr physiotherapist is jetting off to Australia alongside a famous Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) athlete to prepare him for his big fight.
Andy Callachan will be in the corner of Britain's leading Mixed Martial Artist Paul Craig as he competes in a light heavyweight battle against Australia's Jim Crute on December 1 in Adelaide.
Andy is no stranger to working with professional athletes and sports people, within professional football, ice hockey, boxing and Olympic level skiers.
Andy said: " I am excited to be able to be able to travel to Australia use to combine my physio and martial arts skills and be a part of Paul Craig's team in the run to his UFC fight in Australia."
Andy has over 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist and helps keep people in Ayrshire fit and healthy in Ayrshire's premier injury and physical therapy clinic, Callachan's Health and Therapy in Ayr. Andy is also one of Scotland's few black-belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
