THE countdown is now well and truly on to Christmas and the Secret Santa campaign is now in full swing.

Deliveries will start in just over three weeks' time.

This is the fifth year of the venture and once again the Troon Times are promoting it and will be printing a "Secret Santa Stop Here" voucher from the start of December.

Secret Santa was the brainchild of Troon native Camp b e l l Malone , a teacher now living in New

Zealand.

He has been tirelessly supported from year two by Troon woman Caroline Goodall Cummings.

Around 1000 Troon children receive a gift from Santa each year delivered

to their house.

The event is free and all you have to do is nominate your children to Troon Secret Santa by messaging Caroline Goodall Cummings on

the Secret Santa Facebook page.

Donation points for Troon locals to drop in selection boxes are now open.

Donation points are as follows: The Little Knitting Shop, 55 Dundonald Road, Keystore Deveron Road, Keystore Central Avenue, Morrisons Troon, Co-op Muirhead, Barassie Stores (Sals), Day Today, Lang Rd Barassie, The Railway Club, Troon and The Poppy

Room, Church Street.
