A FIGHTING fit group of Troon people donned fancy dress and were put through their paces all in a very good cause.

Troon Dynamic Fitness organised a Monster Dash at Troon South Beach a week past on Friday all in aid of The Small but Mighty Fund for The Brain Tumour Charity

They took part in a stamina-sapping workout, which included press-ups, squats and running.

Instructor Kerry Murdoch said: "We had 12 people in all taking part in the fitness class, from the Troon area. They all had Halloween costumes which included skeletons, ghosts, pandas and pirates. The Small But Mighty Fund for The Brain Tumour Charity is a very deserving cause to support. A big thanks again to everyone who came along and made the class happen! Also huge thanks to everyone who has donated so far, we have raised £175 from this event but would hope to raise more and people are still welcome to contribute."

TDF are again organising the traditional Boxing Day Fit Dip at Troon on December 26 but will this year be raising money for the charity they supported at Halloween.

Added Kerr: " Hopefully we will get a good response and people will give us good support."

Kerry has been running fundraising event with the TDG group since 2014 and they have so far raised around £6500 for a host of different charities.
