Ayr pharmacist up for award
AN Ayrshire pharmacy has been shortlisted for a national award.
Ogg and Co. in Newmarket street has been nominated as a finalist in the Scottish Pharmacy Awards 2018.
Nominated in the category for Advances in Travel Health and Vaccine Services in Community Pharmacy, Ogg and Co. owner David Stribling said: “Our Pharmacy Manager Jane Rorison first introduced the travel vaccination clinic in 2014, beginning with an anti-Malarial service.
Jane quickly extended the clinic to provide vaccinations for worldwide travel, including Yellow Fever which is quite specialist.
The service has been extremely popular.”
The awards take place on November 7.
