A man who challenged police to a fight has been relieved of his order to unpaid work.
Piotr Bronicki of Galloway Avenue in Ayr was given a Community Payback Order last year for his altercations with officers on May 27, 2017. He was found to utter threats of violence to them before assaulting one of them.
The 29-year-old also damaged a vehicle at the scene, at his home address, with his elbow and confronted the officers to fight him, one of which he later spat on.
Representing Bronicki, solicitor Tony Currie told the court that his client had had referrals to mental health services during his order.
Sheriff Desmond Leslie revoked Bronicki’s Community Payback order and will review his case again in six month’s time. He told him: “You are no longer required to complete your unpaid work.
Bronicki’s sentence was deferred for him of good behaviour.
