GIRVAN has opened up a co-working space aimed at helping developing businesses to come together in a communal working environment.
Located in the Town House in Girvan, the project is part of the ‘What if…Girvan’ programme by First Port which is supported by the William Grant Foundation and helped by South Ayrshire Council. It allows businesses the chance to hold meetings, share an office space and showcase their ideas.
The central aim is to enhance collaboration within businesses and improve networking opportunities, and it is already showing signs of development.
A spokesperson from First Port said: “People are using the space more and hopefully moving forward there will be full access and workers can get their own key.”
First Port has encouraged anyone wanting to access the working space to contact Sally at ‘What if…Girvan’.
