THE Clark family from Prestwick and Glasgow are strong supporters of Parkinson’s UK.
This year the family have set themselves the challenge of running, walking, swimming and ski-ing 1,000km to raise funds for the charity.
Inspired by Dad Stewart, who’s in Prestwick and has been living with Parkinson’s since 2008, the family has taken part in many walks, runs and held other events for Parkinson’s UK.
Paloma Casas says: “As a family we have seen at first hand the impact Parkinson’s has.
“We know how vital it is that people with Parkinson’s and their families get the best possible support in living with the condition. It’s heart-warming that people continue to be sogenerous and we thank everyone for their support.”

Jan Mattison, West Scotland Regional Fundraiser for Parkinson’s UK, said: “It’s fantastic that the Clarks are going again for Parkinson’s UK. It’s only through the amazing efforts of people like them and the generosity of their supporters that we can deliver the local services that are so important for people affected by Parkinson’s.
“We’re particularly delighted that they are supporting our fabulous new Ayrshire Young People with Parkinson’s Group.
Support like this means the group can grow and provide even more activities for local folk of working age who are living with Parkinson’s. We thank the whole Clark family for their fantastic efforts.”
