MORE than 2,500 people from across the UK and as far afield as the USA converged on Troon Concert Hall for the 19th Ayrshire Beer Festival last week.
The popular event was staged in TroonConcert Hall from Thursday until Saturday.
Festival organiser Dougie Graham said: “There were people from the UK and Ireland, and there was also someone who came over from the USA for the weekend towork behind the bar.
“There were 90 volunteers involved in the festival.”
A tombola was also organised and was set to raise up to £700 for this year’s chosen charity, Breast Cancer Care.
Revellers also enjoyed it.
Tom Reid from Barassie said: “This is a great event for the community, I enjoy trying out the different golden beers.”
