There has been a serious accident this morning on a road near Culzean Road in Maybole.

The incident involving one vehicle happened near the A77 happened just before 7am, where emergency services were rushed to the scene.

A spokesperson from South Ayrshire Police said: "Around 6.55am this morning police received a report of a serious road traffic collision involving one vehicle near Culzean Road, Maybole.

"Emergency services are currently in attendance and dealing with the incident."
