THE people of Ayr will have the chance to see the latest plans for the town.
The ongoing regeneration work has been made all the more important by the impact of the dilapidated Station Hotel on those travelling to the town.
The Advertiser spoke to Council Leader Douglas Campbell about the ‘innovative plans’ it intends to showcase last Friday.
He said: “What would the public like to see at the top of the town? Might they want a public space? The road system changed? Transform the streetscape to make it a lot less complicated than it is now. The bus stops in different places? The leisure aspect, where would we have that?"
