Man to appear at court over alleged drink driving
A MAN was arrested for being allegedly almost two times the drink driving limit.
At around 11.45pm on Wednesday, July 4 at Langcroft Avenue in Prestwick, it is understood that the 63-year-old driver was stopped for a routine check – police detected a smell of alcohol and requested a specimen of breath.
It is claimed that the man was taken to Ayr Police Station where he was cautioned and charged and released to appear at court at a later date.
