AN ALLEGED attack on a boy in Ayr led to him receiving eight stitches and two fractures.
At around 3am on Sunday morning, the victim was making his way home from a night out with his friend, when a group of five ‘attacked him’ outside the Kyle Centre in Ayr.
It is understood that he had to get eight stitches to his face and he received two fractures to his body.
A spokesman from Police Scotland, said: “Police Scotland have not received any reports in relation to this incident, however, we would urge anyone who does have any information to contact 101.”
The incident was posted on social media by a relative of the victim who has described the ordeal as ‘heart-breaking.’
She asked anyone who may have witnessed what had happened to get in touch.
