Man arrested for alleged smoking incident on an aircraft
A MAN was arrested for allegedly smoking in the toilet of an aircraft at Prestwick Airport.
At around 11.30am on Saturday, June 30, it is understood that staff on duty noticed a strong smell of smoke coming from the rear toilet once the 42-year-old exited the toilet.
It is claimed that police were contacted and on leaving the airport, the accused was arrested and taken to custody, due to appear at court this week.
