A THUG who attacked a man on a Girvan street, severely injuring him, has been released on bail.
Dylan Roberts, of Crosshill, admitted approaching the man in April this year and kicking him on the body.
The 25-year-old appeared before Sheriff Carole Cunninghame at Ayr Sheriff Court last week.
His co accused pleas of not guilty were accepted by the crown.
Speaking on Roberts behalf, defence solicitor Glen Davis, said: “I am sure my lady will want a back ground report.”
Sheriff Cunninghame said: “That would be appropriate to get some background information.”
Sentence has been deferred for a criminal justice social work report.
Roberts has been released on bail.
