Two bargain stores set to shut in Troon and Ayr
A FURTHER blow to the local retail scene came this week with the news that Poundworld is to close its store at Heathfield.
The Bargain Bs shop in Troon is also thought to be under threat, although that had not been confirmed as we went to press.
Meanwhile a group of shop owners in Maybole urged locals this week to back their local town centres by spending at least £2 a week on their doorstep and stop neighbourhood shops going the way as other chains hit by closures.
