SAM came in to the SSPCA’s care when his owner could no longer care for him.
He is a typical, energetic collie who loves to go out for walks and play with toys.
Sam would happily walk for miles and loves to sniff everything along the way.
He can be very strong and pull on his lead when he first goes out for a walk but once he burns off some of his energy he walks really well.
He has been friendly with any human he has met so far but he can be unsure of other dogs and would benefit from further socialisation.
Being an intelligent and energetic collie, Sam would be happiest in a home where he has company for most of the day and a human that is active and enjoys walking and the great outdoors.
He may be able to be rehomed with older children pending a successful introduction.
If you can offer Sam the home he deserves please contact the SSPCA centre in Ayr on 03000 999 999.
